THE LAND OF OPPORTUNITY
Living in America is a privilege with the right to have the opportunity of Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. But, what is the right to Life? What does the right to Liberty really mean? What is the pursuit of Happiness?
When I say the land of opportunity I'm talking about how in our country you can be born into one of the poorest families and can become a self made millionaire, or on the flip side, be super wealthy and end up homeless. This is all about how you play your card with the opportunity you have here. America allows YOU to do what you want to do.
LIFE
Life starts at conception and continues through growth all humans have a life and is precious and protected. The right to Life is the right to be conceived, the right to grow, the right to diminish, and the right to die. Without the right to life you would be denying that you are a life or that any growing being is life. You are apart of life and your life matters. All lives matter.
LIBERTY
Liberty is the state of being free of restrictions, free to make your own choices, experience your own life. The right to Liberty is the right to be who you are, become who you choose to become, to be a free thinker, and have the right to whatever YOU want to do with your life. Liberty is defined as “1. The condition of being free from confinement, servitude, or forced labor. 2. The condition of being free from oppressive restriction or control by a government or other power. 2. A right to engage in certain actions without control or interference by a government or other power.” These are your rights.
PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS
The pursuit of happiness is defined as a fundamental right mentioned in the Declaration of Independence to freely pursue joy and live life in a way that makes you happy, as long as you don’t do anything illegal or violate the rights of others. Pursuit coming from pursue means you have the opportunity to go and obtain happiness. Happiness isn't given it is an individual seeking happiness and pursuing what you want in your life.
It’s an individual’s decision for what you do with your life. Why do you think we are a nation of immigrants, because we have that golden ticket, opportunity which is obtained through Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of happiness. With a stable economy and career opportunities for every American we are a country enabling individuals to do what they want to do.
